The objective in this project is to retrofit an existing greenhouse located at lakeside into a community center, with multi-purpose space that can be re-configured for different activities, and as a library with casual reading atmosphere. 

The design strategy for the shell is provide strategic shading through insolation studies, followed by parametrically designed shading units. The solar panels and openings are proposed at locations to maximize natural ventilation and energy harvesting. 

The interior design strategy is to create a "village", with alley and pockets for casual interaction and reading. The shelving units double as structure support and partitions, create additional layer of visual elements.
